1. Learn and relax with audiobooks and podcasts
Both equally important goals, your phone can help with these. Audiobooks and podcasts are a great way to learn without having to sit down and read or attend physical classes. They can be downloaded or accessed online and you can listen to them whilst you’re out for a run, driving, or even gardening.
Equally, you may wish to listen to a book purely to relax. Again, you can simply download one to your device and listen at your leisure – even when chilling in the bath!
2. Turn off Social Media notifications
Because distraction is regarded as the enemy of productivity, it is well worth switching off notifications. Otherwise you are likely to be bombarded with adverts etc. Research shows that each distraction when working can cost over 20 minutes in productivity.
What is a multi network SIM?
A multi network SIM is a simple yet effective way of preventing you from losing connectivity. It works by switching you between networks based on connectivity or signal strength at any given location.
3. Use a voice-activated PA
There are numerous voice-activated smartphone personal assistants now available to choose from. These can boost your productivity by doing a range of tasks for you, including answering phone calls, taking notes, correlating information, and even sorting your shopping list! This will give you more time to be productive.
4. Use to-do lists
There are a number of useful apps for making notes, most of which give you the option of “to-do lists” where you can tick off tasks as you complete them. This is an easy way to remind yourself of what needs doing, to plan events, or even add to your shopping list as you run out of things.
