Calm Down – Firstly take some time to calm yourself, as you will be able to think more clearly. Take some deep breaths and calm yourself. There are various breathing techniques which can help you to feel calmer and more grounded.

Find out if Anyone has a Spare Key – Once you have calmed yourself, think about who will have a spare key. If you live with someone, is it possible that they can let you in? Or do any family members, friends and neighbours have a spare key that you can use? This should be your first port of call. If you have a landlord you should also contact them as they will likely have a spare key.

Call a Locksmith – If nobody you know has a spare key, then you should call a professional like this locksmith Blackheath based company who will be able to come and let you in. They will also replace the lock which is something that you should do anyway if you have lost your key, as you don’t know who will have picked it up.
