But what actually is a smart TV? Another example includes the ability to surf the internet and have access to practically anything, from photos and videos to news articles and documents. Another exciting feature of a smart TV is the ability to stream photos, videos, and music from a phone or a laptop straight to the TV. This is also called “casting.”
