Call The Midwife – set in 1950s East End, London, the series follows the lives of a group of midwifery nurses as they learn to care for the pregnant women in their communities. The drama began by covering the period of time from Elizabeth II marrying Prince Philip, and the final series will culminate with her life in the 21st Century.
